J. A. Marino serves as the President of Truman Mox. Mr. Marino holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from The Ohio State University, and served as a Vice President of Commercial Lending for two regional publically traded banks with a combined asset value over $1.3 billion dollars.
His experience includes a broad range of advising on loan transactions from Commercial Construction, Asset Based, Commercial Real Estate, C&I and Equipment/Machinery.
Mr. Marino is responsible for overseeing transactions with an aggregate value over $500 million for various small cap and middle market companies in essentially all industries. His transaction experience touches all aspects of debt placement from mergers & acquisitions, senior debt restructuring and leveraged capital transactions.
Mr. Marino has been awarded the EECA (Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser) designation from the Institute of Equipment Valuation and the CMEA (Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser) designation from the NEBB Institute and is also a member of the International Society of Business Analysts (ISBA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), and American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Michael serves as Vice President of Field Operations for Truman Mox. During his career he served as a top agent for one of the largest auctioneers in the United States for nearly two decades. The 3 billion dollar auction company went private in 2006 allowing Michael to work inside the walls of both a public company and a privately owned company.
Michael oversaw over 1,000 auctions while pricing nearly 100,000 items during his tenure and served as the primary arbitrator for one of the largest Transportation Auction companies in the United States. This knowledge has allowed him to valuate numerous items with accuracy. His experience includes inbound and outbound logistics, reconditioning and salvage recovery.
